Aogashima village, the sleepy Japanese town built inside an active volcano . 11 hours by the large regular ship from Tokyo to Hachijojima or 50 minutes by the regular flight from Haneda airport to Hachijojima then 20 minutes by the shuttle helicopter from Hachijojima airport to Aogashima heliport. The least populated village over Japan.

This island is located 358 km south of Tokyo and 68 km offshore from Hachijojima. Both islands are belong to Tokyo metropolitan.

3 days excursion to Aogashima from Tokyo

Day 1
Upon arrival at heliport .
Half day visit to double caldera and Maruyama go around pass. Afternoon visit to Onsen spa and Aogashima port.
Overnight stay at Aogashima

Day 2
Visit to Okabe area where it’s main village has been located on the outer ring of the volcano in the morning.
Visit to Oyama observatory site and the neighboring Otonbu mound.
Overnight stay at Aogashima

Day 3
Leave Aogashima to Tokyo via Hachijojima by regular helicopter. Upon arrival, visit botanical garden.
Enjoy open air bath with ocean view.
Transfer to Airport in Hachijojima and take a flight to Tokyo.
